Community Organization for Empowerment of Women & Children in Afghanistan (COEWCA) is an indigenous, non-governmental and non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2014 by a group of committed Afghans. It is an organization that works in the country in the areas of Advocacy, Awareness, Psychosocial Support, Education, Social, Economic, Cultural and political opportunities that concern women, children and marginalized communities. Their focus is the most under-privileged and ignored people in conflict zones: women and children. The desired outcome is improving their lives by providing them rights-based education services in central provinces and remote communities, including community-based education psycho-social support, literacy and livelihood training.
