Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of kuna women through selling craftwork. To help kuna women to be conscious of the conservation of their indigenous knowledge. To value and take care of our Mother Earth.

Our CC dedicates to work with crafts. The majority of our members are Kuna indigenous women that don’t speak Spanish, only their Kuna language. With our arts and crafts, we feed and educate our children. We also organize workshops in which we exchange experiences with other organizations and we participate in fairs at a national level. We participate in seminars on preserving historic art designs. Youth also participate in our meetings with other religions and they do presentations of indigenous dances and songs. Our future activities include: National Craft Fair with the participation of all artisan women in July and a Youth Encounter at the Catholic Church in May. At the beginning of May, we had a workshop on the topic “A harmony environment between Mother Earth and the people."

Our dream is to raise the consciousness of women about a peaceful existence within a culture of tolerance.
