Kadiri, where Social Education and Environment Development Society –SEEDS is located, is a famous pilgrimage area and the most of the devotees are from neighboring states. There is a need of promoting respect and understanding between Hindu, Muslim and Christian neighbors in local streets and residential areas. Members of all faiths need to come to know each other personally. Local interfaith contact, cooperation and interaction, in short dialogue, is of great importance, as it makes a major contribution in helping to create an integrated and cohesive community at ease with diversity, and secure in a sense of common purpose.

SEEDS is a registered non-profit making organization, founded by a group of committed and dedicated development workers with an aim to bring lasting positive changes in the lives of the neglected, deprived and distressed communities, with a special focus on the vulnerable and needy people living across the urban and rural areas. Since the inception of the organization, it has taken up many significant projects relating to the rural development and women & youth empowerment programs.

SEEDS is also working with the local NGOS and meeting with them regularly to learn and share their experiences on various developmental issues. The SEEDS team is grateful to the rural communities, youth, well-wishers and friends, who played important roles in enabling them to make an impact among rural lives in meaningful ways. They look forward to learning how to work better in this collective fight against poverty and discrimination with the involvement of the like-minded and common action groups through URI.

VALUE: Positive thinking, collective work, peace building
