Dharga town represents a multi-ethnic community. There exists ethnic tension, so bridge building is highly essential in the area. All members of the CC have been active in different social voluntary organizations and intend to give guidance and counseling to members of all communities in Dharga so as to avert religious conflicts. Their desired outcome is a peaceful society with all active citizens and they plan to achieve it through awareness programs and engaging the community in relevant social programs. This CC is the first in Kulathur District and this is very promising to the development of URI in Sri Lanka.

VALUES: Equality, democracy, human rights
