Blantyre Cooperation Circle gathered 50 young people to help remove waste throughout a neighboring township during a 2012 clean-up event funded by URI environmental seed grants. The participants – who included the representatives of many religions – went door-to-door throughout the township, helping members of the community understand the importance of sanitation.
