The Right Rev. William E. Swing, URI President and Founding Trustee, and URI Executive Director Victor Kazanjian joined Episcopal Bishop of California Marc Andrus at "Tuesday Night Yoga at Grace Cathedral" July 20 in San Francisco, CA, USA. The event welcomed H. H. Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati from Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishakesh, India. Pujya Swami is one of the founders of the Global Interfaith Wash Alliance, which works to clean and protect the waters of the world and is a URI Cooperation Circle.

"Seeing hundreds of people practicing on their yoga mats spread throughout Grace Cathedral was truly a sight to behold,” said Victor Kazanjian. “The presence of such remarkable spiritual leaders as Bishop Swing, Bishop Andrus, Pujya Swami-ji and Sadhvi-ji in the midst of the gathering brought the deep spiritual power of East and West together in an extraordinary expression of love through the practice of yoga and meditation."
