On Monday, October 26, Global Compassion Cooperation Circle in Cameroon, Central Africa, donated a collection of soccer equipment to a Santchou girls’ club. Young women in this area live under the threat of being recruited and taken by Boko Haram to perpetrate suicide bomb attacks. To provide these girls with positive alternatives, Global Compassion instead encourages a “peace project through sport” to “create a new generation of girls, Peace Ambassadors in Africa.”

Global Compassion Cooperation Circle is comprised of Christians, Muslims and members of indigenous practices who all work together to improve their local community.
