URI Regional Coordinators Sari Heidenreich (North America) and Nivy Balachandran (Australia – Pacific Zone) took advantage of the connection opportunities made possible by URI’s global network, and embarked on a trip together along the East Coast of the United States. Along the way, they met with many URI Cooperation Circles and likeminded organizations, discussed peacebuilding projects, and recorded their insights in stories and videos to share with the rest of the URI community.

Regional Coordinator Exchanges are one way the URI network makes connections and encourages learning across geographical boundaries. By leaving their home region and observing firsthand peacebuilders’ challenges and successes in other parts of the world, the Coordinators are able to spread the benefit of their learning planet-wide.

See stories and videos on the URI North America blog.
