Professor Mohammed Dajani, founder of Wasatia Cooperation Circle, and Rabbi Ron Kronish spoke to 20 American teachers of Judaism on “The Need for Jewish-Islamic Interfaith Dialogue” at the Wasatia Academic Institute in Jerusalem.
The discussion tackled the prevalent ignorance about Islam among Jews inside and outside Israel, highlighting efforts on the part of Jews to learn and understand Islam in all its complexity and diversity.
The event contributed to Wasatia mission to change the hearts and minds of many people, on both sides, toward reconciliation and the possibilities and benefits of peaceful coexistence.
