Abelardo A. Moya transcends from being a political activist and revolutionary into a peacebuilder and community development expert, and a conflict transformation practitioner, who embraces the active-non-violent principle anchored in the Christian faith. With over 27 years of experience, he has built on the theory and practice of Mindanao conflict resolution processes with non-state actors: Indigenous Peoples, women, and youth. He successfully implemented 40+ peace and development projects; conducted more than five project-end external evaluations, one appraisal mission on forced internal displacement, and various technical consultancy works. Abel values unity in diversity and practices mission-based leadership and governance.
