Dear All URI Members,
Greetings of love and peace. It is a joy to inform you to join your sisters and brothers in prayers in a celebration of the International Day of Peace 2010 on 21st Sep 2010 with representatives of different religions and a workshop on the ROLE OF WOMEN IN CREATING PEACE.
The event will take place at New Garden Town 153 Ali Block Lahore at 5 p.m.
Together we will create a world of enthusiasm, thoughts, peace, love, and commitment to SERVICE in celebration of the International Day of Peace 2010!
We, people of diverse religions, spiritual expressions and Indigenous traditions throughout the world, hereby establish the United Religions Initiative to promote enduring, daily interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence and to create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all living beings.
Peace has never come from dropping bombs. Real peace comes from enlightenment and educating people to behave more in a divine manner.
