Organization for Peace and Development CC remembers Pakistani flood victims on IDP

The Organization for Peace and Development (OPD) CC observed the International Day of Peace with students and teachers of the Renaissance Education Foundation School. The program started with a peace walk which was dedicated to the victims of the flooding in Pakistan. During the peace walk, students were waving the flags of the all countries of the world. Jahangir Piara, from OPD CC, spoke with the students and Shakeel Earnest, the Youth Coordinator, read the message of the UN secretary General Ban Ki Moon. Everyone prayed together in silence for the victims of flood in Pakistan, and for all people in the world who are suffering from different catastrophes and problems. At the end, origami dolls with the words "may peace prevail on earth" in urdu written on them were distributed to all the students. In the evening, Jahangir was invited to the IDP celebration of the Orphan Care Organization; OPD CC supports students at this organization on a regular basis.Y
