Traveling Peace Academy launches in Bangladesh

The Traveling Peace Academy (TPA) launched  in Bangladesh this week, bringing together peacebuilders from 13 URI Cooperation Circles to learn new strategies for building community and securing peace. Professors, NGO representatives, monks, priests, swamis, students and more gathered at Dhaka University for the opening reception, with Bangladesh Islami University's former Vice Chancellor, Dr. Anisuzzaman, as the featured guest. The training, the first in what will be a series of 3-4 week-long sessions, runs from October 1-6.
