Condolence Rally for Shahbaz Bhatti

On 3rd April 2011 at 2: 00 p.m on the call of All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) hundreds people from all walk including women, youth and children with other civil society and United Religions Initiative (URI) Pakistan participated demonstrate angrily protest against the brutally Murder of Shahbab Bhatti. Demanded the Government to arrest the culprit and terrorist who murdered our Hero, who struggled for human rights, Minority’s right,promoter interfaith peace and harmony and who spoke against the misuse of Blasphemy law. The below data who suffered with misuse of Blasphemy law.

At least 964 persons have been accused on the basis of these laws between 1986 and August 2009. They include 479 Muslims, 119 Christians, 340 Ahmadis, 14 Hindus and 10 of unknown religion.

Mrs. Najmi Saleemi, M.N.A leads the protest Rally. All the participants in Rally, the different speaker including myself demand the Government to arrest the Murderer, terrorist of Shahbaz Bhatti and be opened in public trail them according to the law of court. The peaceful rally was started from Nasir Bagh, Mall Road and adjourned at Assembly Hall, The Road, Lahore.
