URI Africa Condemn Terrorist Attack in Kenya

United Religions Initiative Africa condemns the despicable and heinous terrorist attack against defenseless civilians, including innocent children, at the Westgate Shopping Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.  

URI Africa expresses its deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the families of the 68 deceased and the more than 175 injured people.  URI Africa also prays for the Almighty to comfort all those who lost loved ones in the attack and to grant the injured speedy recovery and safe release for those who are under hostage.

URI Africa thanks the Kenyan policy and security officers and all those people who help the victims in different ways.  Our appreciation also goes to the Red Cross of Kenya and all those people who donated blood to the victims.

During this hard time, members of United Religions Initiative from 28 African Countries stands in solidarity with the Kenyan and with all the family of the victims from different nationality.

URI Africa strongly condemns any form of terrorist attack by any group or organization in any part of the world. There is no any justification for killing innocent people.
