Dear Friends,

Here I am sharing another new initiative in our East India zone. With the help of Ektaan Band Performance Funds, we are inaugurating a new Cooperation Circle (CC) learning exchange program.

In this program, two or three CC members will have the chance to travel and stay with another CC that works in their respective area, learning about one another’s work during their visit.

Depending upon the program, members will be allowed to stay two or three days with the other CC, where they will be hosted at homes in their respective local area. Upon completion of the program, both CCs will share their experience with the rest of the groups during the Subregional Assembly, a gathering that happens twice a year. Both groups will also share new ideas that they have adopted through the exchange program and recommend programs or practices, simply max two pages of sharing.

The only criteria are that both CCs apply together for the funds to cover the travel costs for members. The host CC will also have daily expenses such as food and lodging covered for two or three members; or, in some cases, the host members will receive the allowance for food and lodging.

The program will be photographed and captured in two ways—from local media and from both CCs in a joint report.

Our application process will start on 21st September and we will have our first program before the end of this year. Applicants are encouraged to contact Ektaan CC organizer Mr. Kaushik Chatterjee at: [email protected] for more details.

Peace,

Biswadeb
