A football legend called Aidid Ismail (nickname Jamaica) and I share a moment to talk about the importance of playing sports together

There was a seminar called "Youth & Radicalization and Integration Seminar: How to be active and work for peace and your family and community with non-violent means" April 4, 2015 at the Peace Station in Helsinki. Lars Silén and I talked about the interfaith dialogue at this seminar. We also showed some photos taken at our URI activities during these past years.

There were about 100 young men from Great Britain, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland who came to play football for peace during Easter weekend. The men or their parents have moved to Europe from Somalia.

The main organizer of this event is the Peace Union in Finland. The Union of Lutheran Parishes has supported this sport activity with peace training for the past few years. Last year I had the joy to introduce the Global Ethic exhibition made by the Welt Ethos Institute and to talk about the Golden Rule for the players.
