
Brief Report of Interfaith Iftar Party
Organized by URI MCC Islamabad
An Interfaith Iftar Party was held under the auspices of URI MCC Islamabad at its office in New Suhan, Islamabad. Allama Dr G R Chishti presided over the function.
The program was held in three phases:
- An opening fast for Muslim Women was organized at Allama Dr GR Chishti`s residence besides the Office of URI MCC Islamabad.
- The opening fast program for Muslims was held traditionally at the Mosque Mai Saleem Akhtar (RH).
- The interfaith group of Muslims, Christians, and other religions was presented with Iftar at the URI Office.

Dr GR Chishti, Coordinator of URI MCC Islamabad, Mrs Saeeda Yasmeen, Member of the MCC, Mr Hasnain Shah, UC 21 Local Government, Mr. Manzoor Masieh and Mr Asif, and others were at the stage on the occasion of the Interfaith Iftar Party, held by URI MCC Islamabad.

After opening the fasting and refreshment to interfaith guests, there was a Roze TV reporter in the party. Dr Chishti is an Anchor for the Rose Roshan Program, so he started to make a report for TV news. The report was aired on 10 News on the same night.
