Interfaith Seminar on the Eve of National Minorities Day by Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights CC

On the eve of National Minorities Day Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSWHR) and Christian Community organized the Seminar with the topic of “HUM SUB KA PAKISTAN” at Press Club Sialkot. Chairman PCSW&HR Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori Chairman was  Chief Gust, well renowned Religious leader Allama Syed Jawad Ul Hassan and Chairperson Christian Union Pakistan presided over the seminar. Executive Director Mr. Mansoor Ahmed, Director Ch. Muhammad Ijaz, Pastor Javed Sovetra from UP Church, Mr. Riaz Bhatti,  Dr. Yaqoob Rafee, Prof. Sajjad Haider, Mr. Nadeem Sovertra and other also addressed during the seminar. Whereas people local journalists and people from walks of life belonging from various religions participated in the seminar. While addressing during the seminar as chief guest Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori said that as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah the state of Islamic Republic of Pakistan assures the minorities in the Pakistan dominion that they would have protection with regard to their religion, faith, life, property and culture. They would, in all respects be citizens of Pakistan without any discrimination and no doubt along with it they would have the obligations of citizenship. The minorities would have to be loyal to the State and owe true allegiance to the State. Mr. Noori  urged that if we have to made Pakistan a strong and dignified state then we have to assured and give the fundamental human, constitutional and democratic rights to week and depressed communities, first we all are Pakistani then we are Muslim, Christian, Hindu etc. he also added that both Muslims and minorities living here in Pakistan have paid the lot of sacrifices during Pakistan movement but still minorities and week communities are facing extortions and injustice. Mr. Noori quoted the wordings of Hazrat Ali (RA) that “a society can function on kufar system but not without Justice.”   He also urged that in the present scenario strengthen of national institutions is need of hour to made Pakistan stronger. While addressing during the seminar the other speakers also emphasized for the promotion of human rights and interfaith harmony and said that all spiritual religions give the teachings to their followers to respect each other religions, religious & social tolerance, peace and justice. To eradicate the terrorism and extremism from our beloved country we have to showed National solidarity. Mr. Noori also assured that his organization Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights will continue its efforts to protect the minorities rights here in Pakistan.
