During the visit of Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights delegation to the USA, a renowned organization of Pakistanis (Pakistan Link) arranged a reception in honor of Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori and Mr. Mansoor Ahmed in Washington DC.
Dr. Zafar Jaspal Professor Quaid Azam University Islamabad, representatives of Pakistan Link Zareef Khan Malik, Hamid Khan, Kousar Jawad, Sardar Zafar, Muhammad Usman and others; so many personalities from the Pakistan community and the USA; participated in the reception.
While addressing during the reception Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori said that without solving the Kashmir, Philistine and other resolvable issues, sustainable development can’t be achieved. The world community, especially the USA, has to play its role to solve the Kashmir issue. The Kashmir issue is not only a political or land issue; it is a human issue, so it is the moral obligation of the global world to solve this human issue.
He further said that Pakistan has paid a lot of sacrifices in the war against terrorism and extremism to secure international peace, and also has borne lot of human and property losses in the war against terrorism and extremism. Now it is time for the world to do more for Pakistan and its development. He said that the whole Pakistani Nation respects and is thankful to those who have paid the sacrifices of their lives during the operation Zarbe-e-Azab, and scarified their today for the future of Pakistan. Due to the sacrifices of armed forces and peace lovers, peace will be secured in Pakistan very soon, and terrorism and extremism will be eradicated from its roots in Pakistan. The Pakistani nation will always remember the sacrifices of martyrs.
He further added that religious tolerance, interfaith and intercultural harmony are the need of the hour. To promote interfaith harmony at a global level, we have to increase the zeal of tolerance. He said that Islam is a religion of peace and justice, and teaches us the respect of all religions and their followers, and also provides full protection to the minorities in Islamic state.
He also urged the Pakistani community in the USA and in other countries to play their role to highlight the actual perspective of Islam and Pakistan. He said that his organization, Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights, will continue its efforts to create a culture of peace, justice, interfaith harmony and tolerance. Pakistan Link also appreciates the efforts of Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights for the protection of human rights, women’s rights, minorities’ rights, peace, justice, promotion of interfaith and intercultural harmony, etc.
