The talk included these key points:
- Faith leaders have the power to inspire and educate thousands of people.
- The Imams have shown true leadership, working together with all faiths towards a more peaceful society. An attack on any religion is an attack on all religions as we share the values of peace and mutual respect.
- All religious communities must stand side-by-side with the Muslim community; even more so during these turbulent times.
- Through our collective responsibility, we must challenge the hatred and discrimination that is so rife in our society today.
