Report by Mohammed Sakhawat
World Interfaith Harmony Week was celebrated with Apolo International School. Then I introduced World Interfaith Week and also explained the current issues of the environment and education.
On that day, the students of Apolo International School performed a drama on education very well. The problems faced by students at home regarding education were very well-described in the play, which was performed by the children.

After the play, I told the students the importance of celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week. Firstly, I gave an introduction about the occasion: World Interfaith Harmony Week is a UN resolution for a worldwide week of interfaith harmony, which was proposed in 2010 by King Abdulah I and Prince Ghazibin Muhammad of Jordan. The World Interfaith Harmony Week falls on the first week of February every year and aims to promote harmony between all people, regardless of their faith. It is also essential to resist forces of division that spread misunderstanding and mistrust, especially among people of different religions.
The fact is, humanity everywhere is bound together, not only by mutual interests, but by shared commandments to love God and neighbor; to love the good and neighbour.
This is a special week, during which the people of the world, in their own places of worship, can express the teachings of their own faith about tolerance, respect for others, and peace.
And may people learn to live in Unity in Diversity.
At the end of the program, we also considered the aspects of religion. Other than this, we talked about the roles and responsibilities of each of us as a human in society.
