Mr. Daud Abdi Daud, who is also an Executive Committee Member of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) by representing Somalia national guild, was respected extraordinarily to serve the IFAJ membership and benefits committee.

“For responding to the Presidium’s request regarding your preference of committee assignment for the important IFAJ work ahead of us.”In order to balance the participation amongst the different committees – leadership, competencies and regions – I am hoping you will accept my offer to serve on the membership and benefits committee. This committee’s work is vital for ensuring progress with the Vision 2020 strategic plan,” said Mr. Owen Roberts, IFAJ President.

At the Executive meeting in the Czech Republic, IFAJ announced the results of the Member Survey, which was conducted online between January and May 2017.

The survey reflects input from 149 agricultural journalists and communicators in 36 countries, and covers a wide range of topics from daily tasks to views on the future of the agricultural media. Among the 25 questions in the survey, the committee that developed the survey also asked for direction that will help IFAJ develop even more programs of value for our members.
