Call for poems for Think Peace International’s poetry slam

26 April 2017

Apr 26, 2017.

Can you share a poem to support a Cooperation Circle?

Poetry is a bridge builder and Think Peace International CC will host a generational poet off (a poetry slam) this Sunday April 30.  They are asking for submissions of YOUR story through prose and poetry and will share them with the Houston audience of generational poets. A 2-5 minute video or audio with your name, your URI CC and a little bit about the work that you do should be included. You are welcome to share musical renditions of your poetry as well.

Think Peace International focuses on generational work. This particular bridge (generational) reminds us that we should square our shoulders to pass on our experiences and wisdom for the good of humankind, telling the stories of what we do right and what we struggled with. That bridge leads to the land of youth of many generations who must prepare themselves for the roads ahead.

Send prose and poetry to P. K. McCary at [email protected]. For those who have YouTube links, you can share that link. All will be played throughout the event. We will post pictures throughout the event on Facebook and Twitter #truthwillout4peace

Thank you for supporting this cooperation circle with your poems!
