The Latest News from URI Southern Africa

Greetings dear URI Friends!

This year has seen a marked increase in the focused activity by URI member groups, or Cooperation Circles (CCs), and combined CC events in the Southern African Region. This inter-CC collaboration is having a greater impact and we are deeply grateful for this positive work. The United Nations Days are being recognised more and more for the role they play directly in supporting the awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the region. It is inspiring to see CCs like the Cape Town Interfaith Initiative, under the new chairmanship of our much-loved Berry Behr, the Matindi CC, the Parliament of the People CC and USPP's Gifted for Good Youth CC, among many others, working together collaborating, partnering, and providing much-needed support in the grassroots communities. Well done to each one of you that adds your time, your talents and your treasure to the building of peace through interfaith work.
