In this photo, Palki Peace Circle (a URI member group in Kolkata, West Bengal, India) celebrates World Interfaith Harmony Week by holding their annual charitable meal. Volunteers prepared a nutritious meal for around 7,000 destitute people, irrespective of their caste, skin color, culture, or religion. Members also distributed much-needed blankets and clothes. The celebration promoted harmony between all people, regardless of their faith.
Palki Peace Circle is one of many URI member groups to hold a special event for World Interfaith Harmony Week, which brings our international community together in celebration every February.
