The Weekly Shot: Interfaith Harmony in Syracuse

In Syracuse, New York, USA last February, two URI Cooperation Circles (InterFaith Works and Women Transcending Boundaries) joined forces to hold their annual World Interfaith Harmony Assembly and bring diverse members of their community together. When they ran out of candles during a ceremony that would have had each community leader light one candle, they decided to share candles and light them simultaneously as living symbols of interfaith harmony, instead.
