Participation in the Tunis Forum on Gender Equality and More

This report is to inform you of my serial participation in several important events.

The first event I participated in is the Tunis Forum on Gender Equality, a world UN Women’s Forum organized by the governments of Sweden and Tunisia, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UN Women. It was held in Tunisia from 24 to 26 April 2019.

The other event, organized by Islam Democracy (an NGO based in USA and Tunisia), is a forum of religion leaders reforming and building capacity against extremism in the Maghreb region of Northwest Africa.

Another event was organized by the Maghreb Economic Forum. It addressed the role of youth against extremism and radicalization.

Our URI Cooperation Circle (member group) TOL'ART participated in these events in Tunisia and on the role of women in building peace.
