Stand Up Together was written by Aboriginal man (Ngiampaa) Dane Kennedy in Ethiopia during UNITY EARTH’s U Day Festival in Ethiopia in 2018.
The spoken word is by Jason Kelly (Mutthi Mutthi).
Both Jason and Dane are descendants of the Mungo people tracing their ancestry back 45000 years.
The song was then recorded by UNITY EARTH artists around the world, each adding their unique touches the track.
The video was made by Ben Reisman with footage from U Day Ethiopia, with scenes from Lake Mungo as well as UNITY EARTH’s Fields of Healing gathering in Byron Bay.
