The Weekly Shot: Interfaith Connection through Peace

Federico Pugliese, Director of Religious Affairs of the City of Buenos Aires, with URI Director of Cooperation Circle Support María Eugenia Crespo.

On September 15, the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, held a meeting day with representatives of various teachings providing information to the larger community. María Eugenia Crespo, the URI Director of Cooperation Circle (CC) Support and a member of URI CC "Escuela de Amor," was at a booth providing information on the interreligious and intercultural work of URI in the world and especially in the Latin American region. At 4:00 PM, by María’s suggestion, there was a full minute dedicated to Peace – an interreligious moment in which all could participate. It was an example of interfaith cooperation and friendship exemplary of URI’s work, which reaches people on a global and personal level alike.
