Miluska Hostel House Provides a Safe Place for Women

Last Friday, January 31, in the Lince district, in Lima, Peru, the Miluska House was inaugurated. It is a place ready to house women who are sex workers and in a state of abandonment, violence and trafficking.

The Global Counselor David Limo, first contact of the Cooperation Circle URI Lima, together with the political candidate and social activist Angela Villon, took part. They managed, together with the political and municipal contacts of the Lince district, the network of sex workers, and in agreement with the Latin American Platform of People who exercise the Sexual Work PLAPERTS, to obtain enough funding for this project.

Miluska House now has the capacity to house between 10 to 15 women, thus providing them with a safe and reliable place. David was named godfather of the hostel and aims to raise more funds for the sustainability of the house.
