Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Druze Faith Leaders in Jerusalem Pray Together for End to Coronavirus

Touching elbows has become the new handshake in a time of social distancing.

Haj Ibrahim Abuelhawa of Jerusalem Peacemakers (a URI member group in Jerusalem) gathered with the faith leaders of four Abrahamic religions on a Jerusalem rooftop last Sunday. The four leaders, who represented Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and Druze faiths, prayed together for the speedy healing of the human family from effects of the coronavirus. The interfaith grouping symbolized humanity's joint efforts against a common challenge.
