The International University of Peace (Unipaz) Federal District held the meeting "Women for The Earth, Women for Peace - Women's Voices for the Healing of the Planet", on March 9. The Gardeners of the Earth Project initiative is a tribute to International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8.
Coordinated by the Dean of Environment of Unipaz, Regina Fittipaldi, the meeting was attended by six women from various areas, who work for a fairer, more sustainable and peaceful world.
Among them were: the global advisor of the United Religions Initiative (URI), Salette Aquino, actress Maria Paula, Ambassador of Peace; Indigenous artisan Airy Gavião and sociologist Moema Viezzer. Also present in this sacred circle of women were the lawyer and socio-environmentalist Nádia Nádila, and the director general of Unipaz Goiás, Hélyda Di Oliveira.
