At the end of last year, URI opened applications for the URI Youth Seed Grant for projects that work to advance URIs purpose, make use of a collaborative partnership from the network and are led by or working with young people in our network.
We received an overwhelming 52 applications, from which only 8 could be selected for the $500 grants. The 8 projects were from 5 different countries across Southern Africa, Great Lakes Region, West Africa and MENA. Congratulations to the 8 CCs and Individual members for their strong proposals and innovative projects, which we look forward to nurturing the fruits of as the year unfolds!
