On 5th September, we organized a promotion of our new interfaith dialogue guide dictionary, “ABC of Interfaith Dialogue.”
This unique publication aims to streamline and enhance interfaith dialogue by compiling key definitions, historical events, important figures, and significant dates in the realm of interreligious dialogue.
It is available in Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian and English. This guide will serve as an invaluable resource for scholars, practitioners, and anyone interested in fostering understanding across faiths.
This publication is part of the KAICIID Fellows Program and it has been done in collaboration with United Religions Initiative Europe, Religions for Peace Europe and Youth for Peace, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Publication promotion event was held on Zoom and brought together colleagues and representatives of partner organizations from Europe and beyond.
During the event, Dr Duncan Wielzen, President of URI Europe, said, "This publication holds incredible potential to promote peace and understanding among diverse communities. I sincerely hope it reaches many people." Meanwhile, Luigi de Salvia, President of Religions for Peace Europe, appreciated the clarity and focus of the guide, underscoring its importance in promoting well-defined interreligious concepts. He echoed the sentiment that this guide is crucial for fostering mutual respect and peace between communities. Also, Samira Barucija-Homoras, URI Multiregion Coordinator, invited and encouraged all participants to share this publication widely since it’s a resource for fostering dialogue and collaboration across faiths.
