Launching Leaders Co-Founder Steve Hitz has created an insightful Op-Ed article discussing a positive approach to engaging younger generations of leaders.

People of Islamic, Buddhist, and Christian faiths gathered together for this celebration. Their goal was to use the occasion to motivate people to stop deforestation and to develop concern for natural resources. They released fish into the natural environment and planted trees as an interfaith group.

The Ullambana, or Ghost Festival (also known as Zhongyuan Jie, Gui Jie, or Yulan) is a traditional Buddhist and Taoist festival held to honor beloved ancestors who have passed away.

Every September 21, on the United Nations International Day of Peace, local pizza shops give all the proceeds from their slices to charity. It's "A Piece of Pizza for Peace!"
