Habel Foundation has been working for the welfare of the Dalits for more than twelve years. Their main activities include conducting leadership training, offering education subsidies, and honoring social workers and community leaders. In years past, they have also conducted a week-long peacebuilding program with the help of the South India Zone. Annually, about 100 students attend their Personal Development Camp. In September 2012, they won an award for their innovative Eco-awareness Education Program and their Tree and Medicinal Plant Planting Project in Kerala.
