The goal of the members of Japan Interfaith Council is to achieve understanding, respect, and harmony among followers of different religions and to see peaceful co-existence in the world. They use several mediums to share their vision and realize their goal. For example, to counter violent extremism, they have a TV talk show in Japan that promotes interreligious harmony. They have also published a book in Japanese on comparative religion.
