The past activities of Mexican Interfaith Council (CIM) include: holding a silent meditation in front of the US Embassy prior to the Iraq War; meeting the president of Mexico, Vicente Fox, to offer counsel on interfaith matters; accepting an invitation by the Interior Department to offer member comments and suggestions on reforms to the Mexican Law governing religious institutions; and celebrating International Day of Peace in the park close to the Peace Bell.
