The National Coalition of Religions and Community Together Cooperation Circle (CC) gathers a group of more than 50 members from more than 7 different religions and indigenous traditions that tries to find the underlying solutions to the problems Burundi faces. Together, they mobilize the young people in Bujumbura slums to stop the destruction of properties and killing of humanity. They support building houses for the poor and needy people of Bubanza-Buramata. CC members contribute to an increase in the life expectancy and support over 100 women infected by HIV/AIDS at Kanyosha suburb. They also increased access to education by enrolling about 120 orphans into school in the Rutana and Gatumba. The Coalition runs a Center of Dialogue to end Religious Violence which resulted in different groups being able to meet easily, without fear, throughout the communities of Bujumbura slums. Additionally, they supply clean water to address the problem of water-borne diseases in Rweza. The National Coalition of Religions and Community Together CC administers a micro-enterprise to provide loans to about 100 people, which has resulted in economic empowerment and self-sufficiency within the target community.
