The Rise Circle aims to support fellow indigenous and pagan spiritual leaders in reviving and empowering earth-based wisdom traditions to survive to serve future generations. They look forward to rediscover, reapply and to integrate the sacred ecosystems knowledge into the world’s on-going mission to reverse climate change. The group that includes 16 faiths from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas, and members from Indigenous and earth-based Pagan spiritual paths world-wide has its first central RISE Circle Office in New York. Actions are directed to create and develop sustainable RISE Healing Centers, Research and revive ecosystems, Create a small number of RISE Circle central offices or virtual programs, as needed, staffed by Indigenous and Pagan interfaith directors and facilitators; Create one or more scientific/academic research teams on Indigenous Ecosystem’s Revival, Hold periodic reporting and planning conferences, organized by central offices and research teams, in which local and central researchers meet, physically or virtually, to share and integrate their knowledge into climate change reduction action plans, and to plan next research cycle. One of their highlights in 2015 was their presentation of the RISE project at the 2015 Parliament of World Religions, where it was favorably received, and attracted new members.
