Human rights activist Tagreed Al Doghi led the first workshop, which examined the difficulties faced by “officially unrecognized minorities” in Jordan.  Ms. Doghmi, who also works as a radio program presenter, shared the results of an empirical study she had conducted on that topic with Seeds of Peace delegation leaders and members.

In the second workshop, freelance news and documentary producer Nadia Ghazwi discussed conditions at the Al Za’tary camp for Syrian refugees.  In particular, Ms. Ghazwi emphasized the role non-governmental organizations and volunteers can play in relieving the hardships and suffering of the refugees.

The Jordan-based Cooperation Circle is affiliated with the international Seeds of Peace organization.  Formerly a summer camp for Israeli and Palestinian youth, the program now works to share messages of peace in 27 countries throughout the world.
