Reception by Lord Mayor of Nottingham Councilor Mohammad Saghir in honor of PCSW&HR Chairman Muhammad Ijaz Noori

Chairman Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights Muhammad Ijaz Noori has said that terrorism & extremism is global challenge and to meet this challenge alliance of civilizations, inter-religious harmony and social tolerance is need of hour. He was expressing his views during the reception in his honor arranged by Lord Mayor Nottingham Mohammad Saghir at Nottingham City Council. Mr. John Macdoland, B.M fair, Mrs. Mussarrat Tariq, Andrays, Badar Zaman, Irfan Younis, Shahid Anjum and others were also present during the reception. Mr. Noori further added that religious minorities are enjoying equal rights in Pakistan, however to eradicate deprivation proper constructional modification and strengthen their role in political system is necessary, civil society of Pakistan is active to play their role for purpose. Mr. Noori also added that there is no accommodation of terrorism and extremis in Islam, terrorists & extremists are enemy of Islam and they have no relation with Islam and Muslim Ummah. Inter-religious harmony and promotion of quality education is necessary to eradicate the poverty and extremism from world. He said that United Kingdom is image of alliance of civilization and inter religious harmony. While expressing his views during the reception Lord Mayor of Nottingham Councilor Mohammad Saghir said that interfaith harmony and intercultural alliance is essential for the eradication of terrorism & Extremism, real democracy, justice & peace and sustainable human development in Pakistan. He added that for the eradication of poverty and promotion of interfaith harmony in Sialkot the social, trade, cultural and public relations between UK and Pakistan will made more strengthen. He further added that religious harmony will only work for the betterment of humankind. Islam emphasizes on the dialogues and stands against any kind of discriminations, so in every respect, we should welcome all possible dialogical openings and we should advocate peaceful negotiations in times of unfortunate clashes. It would be a good gesture if religions could collectively involve in serving the humanity. During the reception Chairman Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights presented the official shield to Lord Mayor of Nottingham Councilor Mohammad Saghir, whereas Lord Mayor of Nottingham awarded the certificate to Chairman Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights as recognition of his marvelous services for the protection of human rights, promotion of inter religious & inter cultural harmony etc.
