From natural to man-made disasters. These have become recurring decimals in our world today. The need for constant prayers and active good works cannot be over-emphasized. We turn to God in these times for comfort for those who have lost loved ones, and eternal rest for the victims.

No matter where there is devastation, heart break and or suffering, let us be the light.

Prayer is real. Prayer, words and prayful meditations are light.  And we focus on our prayers to those that suffer as a result… many loved ones are mourning. The light comes from within, to become that prayer.

The prayer changes the energy. Prayer is very powerful. It is the God of all in all sharing being love to all. When we come from a loving space... filled with love and our words are that love we have the power to transform all that stands in our way, we also have the power to see peace replace fear.

So we united; all faiths knowing our prayers are united, pray.  Some use words. Some are still with their thoughts... all focus on loving those that need it.

We meditate. We be love where ever we can ... and we also create projects that support that love in action where ever we can. URI is a powerful witness to love and I am proud to be a CC in it… and pray with all my brothers and sisters for that PEACE, especially in times of pain for others. It does make a difference. .... People feel it. And this is what we exist to be and do...  a witness to peace can be in word.

In that peace and with that love- which is from my heart

Thank you for your warm words and your prayers. We human beings are not able to prevent so horrible accidents, mostly we cause them. We cannot manage everything. In the end we are all in God's hand.

Let's stay together in mourning and assistance, in our thoughts, memorial and prayers.

Many greetings from Germany,

Marianne Horling, Global Council Trustee for URI Europe
