The seminar was organized by Forward Action for Conservation of Indigenous Species (FACIS) in collboration with Bauchi State Ministry of Environment and Forestry and African Youth Initiative on Climate Change (AYICC) on the 25th January, 2014. 3 papers were presented by specialists from the department of Forestry, Wildlife and Reasearch/planning & statistics of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. It was attended by the Zonal Director federal ministry of Environment, north-east zonal office. More than 30 secondary schools students participated in the event. 50 tree seedlings were planted on the same day by students and government officials.
