Each year, the International Day of Peace (IDP) is observed around the world on 21 September. The United Nations General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. The theme for the International Day of Peace in 2018 is “The Right to Peace - The Universal Declaration of Human Rights at 70.”

We invite URI Cooperation Circles and URI Regional Support Offices to share their plans for the International Day of Peace! Please take a moment to fill out the form below to inform us of your plans and how you hope the event will unfold. After the event has happened, we hope you'll send us actual numbers (of participants, etc.) with reflections on what took place.
