The United Religions Initiative North India and Afghanistan, in cooperation with URI Cooperation Circle G3S Foundation, is working to improve the standard of living for the underprivileged women in the state of Bihar, East India.
Local URI members inaugurated a sewing machine centre on 31st August, 2018 at Machhai Village in Muzzafarpur, Bihar.
The centre will provide classes and training sessions for underprivileged women to procure the skills required for them to become economically independent. The centre aims to become a platform for women to improve their lives.
