Last Sunday, Bishop William Swing, Founding Trustee and President Emeritus, delivered a sermon at Grace Cathedral, in San Francisco.
In his words: "Next week, we will elect a president of the United States. Among the myriad responsibilities that go with the office, none is of greater magnitude than the use of nuclear weapons."
Between August and September 2021, the URI AL&C Online Youth Training organized by the URI Global Program for the participation of youth was developed with the intervention of 15 young people from the CCs: Aflaiai, Constructores de Puentes, Teusaquillo, Mukua, Quinaroes , COEMATI, The Descendants of Guatemaya, Samay, ACRE from the countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama and Venezuela.
Hope in Life Foundation, working alongside One Global Family Foundation, Council of Interfaith and Indigenous Women, Shirdi Sai Temple, and Tarzana, collaboratively served over 300 homeless brothers and sisters.

Alongside the United Nations International Day of Peace, the UN held an event titled “Sustainable Peace - Sustainable Development” at United Nations Headquarters, with a strong URI presence.

We climbed on stage, entwined our arms, and I said to the audience, “Do you know what? We are friends, but just five days ago we didn’t know each other.”
On the International Day of Peace September 21st, children and teachers from the Karickam School, a URI Cooperation Circle in Kerala, India, marched through their village chanting "Peace, Peace, Peace - We want peace!"
The celebration of International Day of Peace was organized at Peace Center in Lahore, and started with prayers from the Christian, Muslim, and Hindu sacred books.
