Thursday 8th July was an exciting day in Lilongwe, Malawi, as 18 young people from across the country gathered to begin the URI Interfaith Intercultural Youth Training Programme. Read more! 

Making the most of the connections within our global network, URI members in Jordan hosted a cooperative cleanup in Zay Forest for Environment Day.

In Argentina, the members of Bridge Builder CC  participated in a beautiful interfaith activity with young people on June 30th. They are raising awareness and appreciation of diversity among children and youth. They visit schools and clubs offering the possibility to enjoy the richness of religious diversity.

Rosa Delia Quïzhpe Global Trustee, member of CC Samay, from Saraguro, Ecuador shares a beautiful message of care and offering to Mother Earth. 

On June 21, the members of CC Quinaroes (a URI member group in Venezuela) celebrated in La Laguna de Urao, a sacred Indigenous site. They celebrated the arrival of the summer solstice for the northern hemisphere.

On the weekend of June 19 to 21, 2021 the celebration of the winter solstice is expected in the south of the continent, so members of CC Coemati (women, children and youth) went to the field to harvest tomatoes and hot peppers or chili. 

Bokaro Peace Circle, a URI member group in Bokaro, JK, India, celebrated World Environment Day 2021 by planting and honoring trees. See photos.
