URI members are making a difference in their communities!

On Wednesday February 17, the members of CC Kuxkatan from El Salvador organized a conference via zoom on Natural Spirituality. Juan Rojas, the first contact with CC Kuxkatan, joined with members of the Multiregión to carry out this exchange of knowledge about spirituality, Mother Earth and the millenary ways to counteract extinction.

On February 10, the teacher Maria Oliva, first contact of the CC Tao Judio de Verdade, visited the children of the Ezuza Settlement to distribute school supplies to the children, starting the school year 2021. 

This prayer is an adaptation of a famous mantra from the Hindu Upanishads, translated by Satish Kumar, a Jain Monk.

The past year has brought amazing growth in the number of new countries in which URI has a presence.

In the spirit of love and compassion, let us pray.

Within the framework of the International Day of Human Fraternity proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations, the Circle of Multiple Cooperation "Latin American Interreligious Forum on Human Rights" held a meeting to reflect on the Latin American situation regarding the second wave of the COVID pandemic that has uncovered in a crude and real way, the lack of human fraternity due to the terrible health situation and the lack of access to health rights.

The United Religions Initiative (URI) mourns the loss of US Secretary of State George P. Shultz, a great friend and instrumental supporter of URI.
